Good and bad news.
We are going to delay putting tickets on sale until midday on Tuesday as opposed to 10am as stated earlier. That’s the bad news.
The good news comes in two parts (with more to follow). The reason for the delay is that we are waiting for confirmation on special offers that will be available to Season Ticket Holders, as well as the possibility of discounts for other groups if they buy from the club.
Please try and be patient - there is no point bombarding the club with questions at this moment as the staff have no answers to give you until tomorrow morning’s marketing meeting signs off on everything.
The second part of the good news is that we will be dedicating part of our allocation as an area for those who wish to, how shall we say, enhance the atmosphere. Noisy supporters should request to sit in this area, while those who wish to watch the match whilst eating a cucumber sandwich should request to sit away from the rabble and we will be happy to accomodate. Seats in this section will be available on a first come, first served basis. More details tomorrow.
Finally, we now know that our allocation is 1500 tickets (West Stand blocks L, K & J, Family Stand Blocks E & D and the North West Stand block H) with the possibility of ‘more if they are available’.
We will have more information on all of the above, plus details of pricing, travel and any other other promotional schemes that are given the go ahead.
Please do try and persuade your friends, families and colleagues to go along even if they have never been before - it’s a big day for both the club and the city and it would be great to see a Salfordian (and Mancunian) invasion of Blackpool that weekend!

Is that right an allecation of only 1500 for the final?
R U offering family tickets and why such a poor allocation of tickets 1500 thats a joke mind so are most of the desisions coming out of chapple town road,
I wouldn’t have said it if it wasn’t right Lee
Just to clarify, it quickly became clear when tickets went on sale that we weren’t going to have enough, so we contacted the RFL and will receive a further allocation in the morning of around 800. We are also extending the hugely popular singing section into the next block.
Greg, we aren’t offering family tickets as the prices are so good anyway that we didn’t feel a further discount was necessary. Remember, all junior season ticket holders get a free ticket, along with all Salford kids of primary and junior school age! Can’t say fairer than that if you ask me.
how many can the singing area hold?? including both block H and G??
So, if our allocation is 2,300, what is the capacity for the game as I notice it states ‘a smaller capicity’ Bloomfield Road..???
How many are Doncaster allocated..??
Like Lee, I am curious
