Would also love a “new” Broughton Rangers website…my mother`s uncle played for them in Belle Vue in the 1930s.Name was Walter Stowell,played fullback.

And Mr. Shelton the original Broughton Rangers won the Challenge Cup twice as well as the RL Championship …actually think Rangers were the first RL club to do the ‘double’ ( in 1901-02 ).

Good to see a new RL club in Salford. Let’s hope that the New Broughton Rangers recapture some of the glory of their predecessors. Remember , the original rangers won the Challenge Cup years ago! All power to the new Rangers–Jim Shelton
